AVERY HOUSE
This project involved a complete architectural renovation of this retrained 1960's modernist, brick veneer home on a very busy street and a full Landscape redesign to both respond to the new building form and reconfigured internal spaces but to organise them to maximize amenity and usability. The design was required to provide parking for multiple vehicles, and at grade access to the front door, a private kitchen courtyard with water feature at the front of the house, a dedicated service area outside the laundry, privacy along the rear boundary, extensive vegetable gardens, a studio space, and storage at the rear of the garage with shaded access provided by a pergola at both the front and side of an existing garage.
